A Father's Day Wish

Dads, we know it's been a longtime week.

It's been a long year, past couple of years.

We know you may be feeling exhausted, under pressure, and needing a break.

Today, on Father’s Day, we hope you give yourself permission to feel valued and take time for self care.

Self care, when done responsibly and in coordination with your partner, is childcare.

It allows you to show up as the best version of yourself.T

We also hope that you can see your family as a source of energy and joy.

When you're with your kids, we invite you to be fully present with them.

Listen to every word they say, see what they see, hear what they hear.

Ask them questions, be fully in the moment.

You might be surprised how that energizes you.

Think back to that day when you held your baby in your arms for the first time it.

That moment you became a father.

Since then, your baby has grown, your babies have grown, and you've been a source of support, wisdom, and laughter for them.

You've played ball with yy , perhaps coached them, laughed with them, driven lots of miles with them, and shared their passions with them.

Because of your kids, you've had immense highs, as well as challenging lows.

They've been a source TT pride, joy, and unconditional love.

They give you reason to move your body, care deeply, practice empathy, and experience the world with new eyes.

Your kids adore you (really they do).

They look up to you.

Show them the depths of your love with your attention, time, and thoughtfulness.

Remember that parenthood and fatherhood is a lifelong work in progress.

You'll always be learning, continually on your toes.

Embrace that challenge, that opportunity.

No other role in your life will be as rewarding as this one.

We hope that when you reflect on what being a father means to you, you smile 🙂

Happy Father's Day!
